Oh, Donald Trump. You silly joker you.
Following Wednesday night’s third Presidential debate, pundits from both sides of the aisle were left stunned and nauseated by one thing Donald Trump said on stage.
The uninformed opinion on late-term abortions? The use of the word Hillary Clinton as a nasty woman?
Actually… no, no and no.
(Well… yes, yes and yes, but these quips are not the point at the moment.)
About halfway through the debate, moderator Chris Wallace honed in on Trump’s ongoing remarks in his stump speech, asking the candidate why he continues to refer to this election as “rigged.”
Trump responded by mentioning the “dishonest” media, rambling about “millions of people that are registered to vote that shouldn’t be registered to vote” and by saying that Clinton is a criminal who should not be allowed to run for President.
Still, Wallace forged ahead.
“There is a tradition in this country – in fact, one of the prides of this country is the peaceful transition of power,” the Fox News anchor explained.
“No matter how hard-fought the campaign, at the end, the loser concedes to the winner … and the country comes together.
“Are you saying you’re not prepared to adhere to that principle?”
Exactly, Trump replied, saying specifically:
“What I am saying is I’ll tell you at the time. I’ll keep you in suspense.”
